“The Last Word” is a public speaking exercise for seniors and postgraduates that was introduced this school year. While the program is required for all soon-to-be graduates, it has transformed into so much more.

Mrs. Inglehart came to Hebron in 2005 as a lifelong teacher and accomplished author. On top of being English Department Chair, she has just released an interactive eBook she co-wrote with prize-winning publisher and photographer Ian Coristine, titled One in a Thousand.
The photographic works of six talented Hebron Academy students and one alumna have been recognized in a Lewiston fine art photography competition. Mengdong Zhuang '12 set a competition precedent by taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for her pieces.
Football standout Jose Gumbs '07 just signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent. Jose spent three years Hebron and went on to play at Monmouth University, where he captained the DI Hawks football team.
