The Lumberjacks got their season off to a good start when they took to the ice at the Tilton tourney. The team played well, earning victories over solid Tilton and Kimball Union squads. Their only loss came at the hands of a tough Northwood team. Down by one (3-4), Hebron pulled their goalie before Northwood managed a final, empty net goal.
Joe King scored 5 minutes into the second period to give Hebron an early lead in this closely contested match up. He was assisted by Kyle Tobin and Matt Pedemonti. Holderness evened the score late in the period and the two teams then played through a scoreless third period. Joe King (assisted by Matt Pedemonti and Josh Taylor) then notched the short-handed game-winner for the Lumberjacks in the overtime period. Jon Glant had 28 saves in goal for Hebron.
Kyle Tobin led the Lumberjack scoring effort with two goals and one assist. Cameron Gosney also scored two goals, while David Woods, Matt Pedemonti, and Matt St. Pierre each added one. Mike Colleran, Matt Pedemonti, Roman Gosney, Brenden Beer, and Matt St. Pierre each earned two assists, and Dima Naida added one as well. Kevin Crosby had a solid game in goal.

Matt Pedemonti scored a hat trick to lead the Lumberjack scoring effort, while Josh Taylor, Joe King, and Eric Rodriguez each chipped in a goal as well. Brenden Beer, Joe King, Kyle Tobin, David Woods, Carmine Zegarelli, and Josh Taylor all recorded assists, while goalie Keith MacDonald recorded 26 stops in net.
Hebron edged out host Middlesex School in first round tournament action. Mike Colleran scored on a power play during regulation, assisted by Matt Pedemonti and Brenden Beer. Joe King netted the game-winner in overtime, assisted by Mike Colleran and Matt Pedemonti. Kevin Crosby recorded 28 stops in net.

In the consolation game, the Lumberjacks returned to fine form with a decisive win over Princeton Country Day. Eric Rodriguez scored two goals, while Matt Pedemonti, Joe King, Cameron Gosney, and Brenden Beer each added one. Brenden Beer and Matt Pedemonti each had two assists, while Roman Gosney, Matt St. Pierre, Carmine Zegarelli, Joe King, John Whelan, Kyle Tobin, and Josh Taylor each earned one. Kevin Crosby recorded 22 saves in goal.
In Game 1 of the BB&N tourney, Hebron earned a comfortable win over Tilton School. Joe King netted two goals, and Matt St. Pierre and Matt Pedemonti each had one. Roman Gosney and Matt Pedemonti each earned two assists, while Kyle Tobin and Mike Colleran each earned one. Jon Glant had a solid game in goal, earning 29 saves. Tilton's only goal came in the last minute of the game in a 5 v. 3 power play situation.
Hebron played an excellent game, besting BB&N in the tournament consolation game. Matt Pedemonti netted two goals for Hebron, while Roman Gosney and Sasha Romanenko each added one. Sasha also earned three assists, while Matt Pedemonti, Josh Shanbaum, and Joe King eacd added one. Jon Glant had 28 stops in goal.
