The Hebron Academy Middle School offers small classes, excellent faculty, a challenging curriculum, programs in fine arts, drama, and music, unique offerings in outdoor education, athletics, special trips, and more. Students complete the Middle School program as strong, confident, sensitive individuals who will continue their education in challenging high schools (often Hebron's Upper School) and colleges, and who will contribute significantly to the world in which they live.
The Middle School is an independent division of Hebron Academy for programs and schedules, yet students benefit from being part of a larger school with terrific facilities and a great support system. Up at the top of the stairs under the bell tower in Sturtevant School Building are several classrooms for English, math, and history. Science classes meet in Treat Science Center in a laboratory where students can conduct serious experimentation. Students use the main Computer Center for on-line research and special projects, the materials and collection of Hupper Library for research and study, and their own Arts Studio for painting, drawing and sculpture. They study the environment, play soccer and recreational sports on their own athletic field, and skate in Robinson Arena.
