Hebron Academy, Home of the 'Jacks

Introduction

At Hebron the pursuit of academic excellence finds its corollary in the pursuit of athletic excellence, and participation in organized sports forms an integral part of every student’s Hebron experience. The school’s athletic programs are devoted to encouraging a lifelong love of physical activity and an appreciation for teamwork and fair play.

Hebron’s varsity teams aspire to high levels of play and include our more experienced and dedicated athletes. Our varsity teams compete against a number of other New England prep schools, continuing a long tradition of spirited rivalries. Junior varsity teams offer students of all abilities the opportunity to be a part of team and to further develop fundamental skills, conditioning, and group goals.

Opportunities for recreational play abound. From after-dinner soccer and volleyball games in the Bowl, to pick-up basketball in the athletic center, to simple games of catch on the campus lawns, Hebron students routinely enjoy sports activities of all kinds, and they are encouraged to do so by an active faculty.
