Admissions Update

March 10 Update. March 10 is the signature date in independent school admissions, an annual line in the sand and predictor of what is to come.

Hebron Academy has accepted 80 new students out of a record-high applicant pool with an offer to join our student community in the fall. “The Admissions team was very impressed with this year’s applicant pool across every dimension,” Director of Admissions Edwin Nunez cited in the faculty meeting. “Although many students across the world have dealt with many challenges this year, the creative energy, and positivity we’ve seen from our applicants has been inspiring. I am excited to see them succeed at every level of our Hebron community next academic year.”

The Admissions office has also conducted all of the marketing and admissions outreach virtually this year. “In a year when very few applicants could visit Hebron or meet a representative in person, we worked hard to make sure our many new outreach initiatives were a strong substitute for an in-person visit. It was reassuring to see that many early applicants expressed a real appreciation of what makes the Hebron experience special after they engaged with our many marketing opportunities.”

Admitted candidates have until March 27th to accept Hebron’s offer of admission. Looking ahead, all applicants will be part of a virtual student panel that will help recreate our revisit day experience. “We are looking at what could potentially be a record enrollment year for Hebron. We would not be in this position if it was not for the great job our faculty and staff do on an ongoing basis with our students, especially in this challenging year.”
