French III creating French Music Videos

The students in French III are filming a music vidéo depicting a battle between Gallic Celts and Roman legionnaires, circa 100 BC. Vinny Fugere, our student "professeur" suggested the song, La Tribu de Dana, which sung en français à la Celtic rap. 

In groups, the students translated the song, learning new vocabulary. Next, each group drew a map of the area at the time of the battle. The familiar countryside of Brittany in northern France was known at that time as Armorica.

There is a lot of learning happening....and besides, it is fun to dress up like a Roman soldier.
