Iconic Mural now part of the Lepage Center for the Arts

"Students began their process by researching street artists such as KAWS, Keith Haring, and Chinon Maria. They focused on the themes of Hope, Unity, and Community in their initial sketches and ideas. We brought the ideas together and transferred the final design onto the wall and taped off individual areas. Students began to paint in groups of three or four and worked from the bottom up using chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to assist them. It took all of the fall term, many individual hours, and several coats of paint but the final product is stunning!" -Mr. Michael Tholen
