Nikki Dube Named Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Head Coach

We are pleased to announce Nikki Dube as the next Girls’ Varsity Ice Hockey coach. Nikki Dube enters their first season as head coach after a successful season as assistant coach, where they helped lead the Lumberjacks through their first season back post-Covid. Dube, a graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelors in Recreation and Sports Studies, first represented the St. Thomas Tommies in the ACAA where they were an impact player and helped lead the team to the CIS tournament in two back-to-back seasons. Their grit and determination on the ice was cultivated as a Hebron Lumberjack, captaining the team their senior year and receiving the Reed Award for spirit and devotion to their athletic teams. Prior to their time coaching at Hebron, Dube served as the assistant coach for the Girls’ Varsity Hockey team at Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada. After earning their undergraduate degree in Recreation and Sports Studies from UNB, Dube went on to receive a master's degree in Social Work from University of Southern Maine in 2020. Nikki is passionate about Hebron athletics, and is beyond excited to be a part of the Lumberjack magic once again. Please join us in congratulating Nikki on their new appointment. Lets go ‘Jacks!!
