The first Hebron Academy Writing Contest of the year asked students to reflect on a quote from Wallace Stegner describing "that old September feeling," the opportunity each new school year offers us. We were delighted by the number of students who submitted their work to the contest. Students wrote with great emotion about their first couple weeks at Hebron. We are proud to announce that Alexandra Hounsell's poem "Another Beginning" was the winner of the 6th-8th grade division; Manuela Antón's essay "That Old September Feeling" won the 9th-10th grade division; and Jack Ngo's essay "A Fresh Start" was the winner of the 11th-PG division. Congratulations to all who participated!
