Personal Records in the Time of a Pandemic

Personal Records in the Time of a Pandemic

Mr. Eric Lundblade, history faculty and cross country coach, had been training to run a marathon this month in which he was hoping to set a personal record (PR). In light of current coronavirus pandemic circumstances, the marathon was canceled and his plans were squashed. However, he decided he would continue his training regardless. He recently went for one last training run, and since the weather was nice and he was feeling good...he just kept going. 26.2 miles of campus loops later and he hit a PR of 2:51!

Resiliency and adaptability are two attributes that many of us have been striving for and recommending during these unprecedented times. Thank you to Mr. Lundblade for this shining example of both and congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!
