What a week it has been! We entered the post-quarantine period last weekend, and kicked things off right with tons of snow sports, bonfires, and dogsledding right here on campus. To celebrate our community coming together in-person once again, we took this week off from classes to embrace everything that our talented faculty, 1500 acres, and gorgeous surroundings have to offer. Students did deep-dives into various “Winterlude” activities, including baking, stop-motion animation, glass mosaics, backcountry skiing, ice climbing, and more. Tuesday evening was the inaugural student-faculty dodgeball game, which the students easily won, despite the faculty’s best efforts. Thursday was Mountain Day — an entire day of skiing, snowboarding, and tubing for all! — and tonight is the first night of our annual Winter Games (go Squid!). This week has clearly been filled with positive energy, community spirit, and lots of adventures...and I think we’ll all sleep well tonight!
