2022-23 Hebron Review Staff Writers & Editors

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

  • The ice is not safe for walking or skating. STAY OFF THE ICE!
  • Please remember we have a two-shoe policy in the gym. Please bring a clean pair of shoes with you for use in the gym and leave your winter shoes in the foyer. This helps us preserve our equipment and keep the floor clean and safe!
  • Students walking down to the pond MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. Text the AOD if you want to go and need help finding a faculty member but do not go down without one.

HEBRON REVIEW

The Hebron Review is delighted to announce that Mason Hatfield '24, Maja Mulley '24 and Belle Beauchesne '25 will join the Hebron Review team of Nola Goodwin '23, Cotton Strong '23 and Hannah Sullivan '24 as editors. The new editors will learn on the job as students work to produce the spring edition of The Hebron Review magazine and continue to update The Hebron Review Blog http://blogs.hebronacademy.org/hebronreview/. We are so grateful for the vision and leadership of our senior editors, and we can't wait to see what our new editors bring to these publications.

WELLNESS POSTER CONTEST

The Wellness Team at Hebron is hosting a monthly poster contest to improve student awareness of health and wellness topics. This month's topic is Technology Boundaries and Sleep. Student poster submissions will be placed around the school, and the prize winner will receive a prize basket of Hebron gear valued at over $100!

OUTDOOR PROGRAMMING WEEKEND RECAP

Mike Tholen, Director of Outdoor Programming, and a group of Hebron adventurers had an amazing experience skiing to Hebron's cabin by Marshall Pond this Saturday. The students packed all their own food, skiing with a sleeping bag, pad, water, and warm clothes in their backpacks. For some, this was their first time on skis! They made and enjoyed Ikarian Longevity stew for supper, played cards, tramped out for some stargazing on Marshall Pond, cooked s'mores, celebrated birthdays and new friendships, and shared a night they will never forget.
