This week, the Upper School is moving in several different directions!
Look for additional information about each of these items:
-
Fall Parents’ Weekend – see the schedule here (including our meet-the-teacher “Moose Morning” and sports games!), and don’t forget to RSVP to hcollins@hebronacademy.org to indicate that you will attend.
-
Leading up to Fall Parents’ Weekend, ask your child about Spirit Week activities that were introduced in Morning Meeting on Thursday. Look for the article below that lists the dress-up day for each day next week and for the class color that your child will wear on Friday for the pep rally.

We’re excited to welcome back our world travelers from their Round Square journey to England. Look for photos here and on social media.
There have been a few questions about student movement on and off campus –
Where does my (day student) child go in the morning when I drop them off before school starts?
There are a few places on campus that are ready to receive students!
-
Starting at 7:00 a.m. the dining hall is open and serving breakfast. Day students are welcome to eat and hang out.
-
Day students may also choose to settle in on Sturtevant porch outside the Sturtevant Home dorm building.
-
At around 7:30 a.m. the School Building opens and students may congregate in the Reading Room downstairs (except for Tuesdays, when there are faculty meetings).
-
When the Treat building is open, students may also meet together in the foyer there.
-
Students may also make appointments to meet with teachers before school starts.
Day students may not enter the dorm buildings at any time without express permission from a dorm parent. Do not plan on visiting boarding friends in the morning.
How do I grant permission for my (boarding student) child to leave campus on the weekend?
Students have open permission to leave campus when they are on a school sponsored trip; they sign up for weekend activities each week. If you are visiting campus and want to sign your child out for the weekend or if your child is invited to leave campus with another student, contact Dean of Students Mrs. Mae Applegate at mapplegate@hebronacademy.org to start the process to grant permission for off-campus movement.
