Lumberjacks Girls Varsity Soccer Handed Tough Homecoming Loss

The Girls Varsity Soccer team fought a tough battle against Gould during the Homecoming game on Saturday, September 30. The Lumberjacks struggled to possess the ball throughout the first half but came back in the second half firing a series of shots at Gould's net, scoring a goal and securing a penalty shot. Both Haliegh Holmes '24 and Jae Williams '26 held tight and saved shots from going into the net. It was a tough loss, but the team played well and worked hard until the final whistle blew. With winter sports officially over and all-NEPSAC, all-MAISAD, and Hebron team awards in, we want to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our Hebron student athletes. We took part in 63 interscholastic competitions spanning over the course of 4 months. We came up victorious in some of those and took our losses in others. The grit, determination, and effort demonstrated this winter is commendable, and we are proud of the work each and every one of our student athletes put into their seasons.
