Coach Courtney Carnes, a native of Winslow, Maine, returns to her home state with a deep passion for developing female hockey players and growing the game. A Level 5 USA Hockey-certified coach, Courtney has served as a leader, mentor, and evaluator at both National and District Player Development Camps. She most recently coached the Potomac Lady Patriots in Northern Virginia, where she built a successful program rooted in skill development and opportunity. A former NCAA Division III player at Buffalo State and a member of the Buffalo Beauts during the inaugural NWHL season, Courtney brings valuable experience as both a coach and athlete. She is excited to join Hebron Academy and continue her mission of developing the whole player — on and off the ice.
