Girls Varsity Ice Hockey

The Hebron Academy girls varsity ice hockey team was established in 1999. Since its start, the team has competed widely in the NEPSAC against a number of the most competitive hockey programs in the Northeast. Hebron has a rink right on campus, neighboring the girls dormitory. In addition, the girls hockey team works with a strength and conditioning coach once or twice each week during the season to improve on foot-speed, explosiveness, power, and flexibility, and to minimize injury.

The girls hockey program focuses on building skill and team dynamics while pushing each player and the team to reach their highest potential.

Assistant Girls Hockey Coach

Lily was born and raised in Maine, starting in Hebron and then moving to Lewiston. She grew up in the hockey community, playing and watching hockey since she was two years old. She has played on various high-level travel hockey teams that have gone to many different parts of the US, such as MN, CO, PA, and many other states. Along with travel teams, she played hockey all four years of high school, starting at Saint Dominic Academy and then moving to Hebron Academy, where she was the assistant captain her Junior year and captain her Senior year.

After graduating, she was recruited to play NCAA Divison III hockey at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where she played defense. Since then, she has moved back to Maine to focus more on her studies at the University of Southern Maine, where she has decided to play club hockey. She is passionate about mentoring and is eager to share her knowledge and experience with the team.
