The Hebron Academy softball team serves as a home for both competitive softball players with extensive experience, as well as student-athletes new to the game. Softball is a game of repetition and skill. Team practices reflect this approach and focus on building on the basics. In addition, the team works to balance hard work, team learning, and fun throughout the spring. The team works with strength and conditioning coaches once a week to increase our foot-speed, explosiveness, power, and flexibility. Hebron softball plays the majority of its games against MAISAD opponents but also plays a number of strong teams within the overarching NEPSAC league

This is Ms. Tobey's first year coaching at Hebron. She played school and travel softball in high school, mainly playing outfield but also catching, and coached for Talawanda High School in Ohio prior to coming to Hebron. She values the fast-paced critical thinking and resilience that softball can teach and look forward to sharing that with our athletes.
