Field Hockey Girls Varsity
Hebron Academy’s field hockey team plays a strong schedule that includes fellow MAISAD competitors Kents Hill and Gould Academy, as well as each of the Lakes Region prep schools. Our team is often a mix of experienced players along with multi-sport athletes who are choosing to try field hockey for the first time. The team focuses on fitness, skills development and teamwork. Runs around the fields and on the trails build our endurance, and our once weekly session with the Central Maine Conditioning Clinic focuses on knee strength and stability, balance, core work, and good stretching techniques.
The field hockey team has won three MAISAD titles in the past five years, and several of the players on the team go on to play field hockey in college each year. With the addition of our new turf field in Fall 2018 we look forward to even broader success for our program.
