The 2022 LumberJack football season was one for the record books. Not only did they turn it completely around from last year. They went from 1-5 to 5-1 within 1 football season. This team accomplished so many goals, but it was all due to the entire team working together for the common goal of getting better and winning football games.

Upper School Updates Week 10

Maybe you’ve already heard this from your Lumberjack, but this week grades opened. When you log on to MyHebron and navigate to the Progress tab, students and their adults can now view cumulative grades for this semester. Teachers have been helping students understand their grades, how they are determined, and the best way to impact them in the month that remains in the semester. Students have been excited to see this snapshot of where they stand – and are taking a deep breath as they realize their grade and then settling themselves in to doing the work that will carry them through December 20.

This Week in HAMS- Week 10

We have completed our 10th week of classes! HAMS students continue to keep busy with classes and activities.  As the fall sports season winds down, we encourage students to look ahead to the winter sports and activity season which begins after Thanksgiving break. Students were recently sent a survey which asks them to list their preference for an activity for the winter season. Until then, we encourage students to focus on their academics and also participate in the HAMS food drive! Advisory letters, which recap each student’s progress so far, along with midpoint grades, are now available on MyHebron.

Upper School Updates Week 9

We’ve had a busy week! HALLOWEEN was a lot of fun as we were costumed on Friday, played horror movies all weekend long, hosted trick-or-treating, and had one last blast of holiday gear on Monday. We’ve also been appreciating Dr. Tobey’s display in the School Building honoring the Day of the Dead.

Upper School Update Week 8
  • Academics

This week has shown us what the fall weather can do in Maine! As someone new to this area, I’ve loved seeing the range that the climate has to offer: frost, intense and amazing fog, drizzle and rain all day, cool crisp mornings that lead to afternoons when you want to sit outside and soak up the sun… The leaves are mostly finished turning color, and have fallen to the ground. They sound like little drums when the rain hits them – it’s a comforting white noise as you fall asleep or gently wake up in the morning.

This Week in Hams Week 8

We have completed our 8th week of classes! With all aspects of school life in full swing, HAMS students continue to work at balancing their school work, homework, after school activities and free and social time.
