Edwin Núñez named Director of International Relations and Recruitment

Hebron Academy is pleased to announce that Mr. Edwin Núñez has returned to Hebron Academy as Director of International Relations and Recruitment. Edwin will lead International enrollment initiatives and support advancement efforts abroad for Hebron Academy.
As Head of School, Dan Marchetti remarks, “The momentum at Hebron is palpable. With the new turf field, additions to the Robinson Ice Arena, and the new Kaneb Center for Science and Engineering, we are better poised than ever to lead into the future. Edwin’s vibrant personality coupled with his international background and admissions experience make him ideally suited to represent our incredible program to the many students considering Hebron Academy for high school around the world.”
Edwin returns to Hebron Academy after three years as Senior Associate Director of Admission at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine, where he coordinated international student enrollment and recruitment strategies. Previously, Edwin managed Hebron’s international student recruitment, on-campus international student programs and served as dormitory parent, coach and Spanish teacher.

A Costa Rican native, Edwin received his BA in Economics and Chinese from Middlebury College. Before college, he was a boarding student at Li Po Chun United World Colleges in Hong Kong, China. “Hebron has shaped me both professionally and personally, and it’s incredibly special to me to be back at a place that feels like home, with the opportunity to help bring the school into this new chapter of its story. I am excited to partner with such an amazing leadership team and board of trustees in shaping the future of the school. And I’m eager to help the next generation of Lumberjacks, from all corners of the world, find their place at this historic institution.”
