It's a Great Day to Be a Lumberjack!

By: Hebron Academy
We were up bright and early this morning for the School Spirit Challenge that was on LIVE tv from 6am - 8am!  It was a rousing pep rally that featured everything from the school spirit our wonderful head of school, John King, has (spoiler alert: it's a lot! He painted his head green and white!) to the overwhelming excitement and support that all the kids have for their school and community.  They've done an excellent job in raising over 17,000 lbs of food for the Good Shepherd Food Bank so far, but it's not done.  They have 2 more weeks until Oct 30th to raise even more to reach our goal of 100,000 lbs of food!

WGME's Jeff Peterson did a great job of highlighting all the things that make Hebron Academy special; from our diversity in the number of countries, states, and counties represented in our school population to the HeebeeGeebees, various athletic teams like the Girls' Varsity Soccer and Field Hockey, Boys Varsity Soccer, Golf and Football to the Hebron Academy Middle School which is celebrating their 25th year this year.  Everything that makes Hebron Academy special was on live TV this morning representing our community and why it's a great day to be a Lumberjack.
