Hebron Academy is honored to announce that senior Tyler Swanbeck has been named an Academic All American for the 2017-2018 school year. Academic All Americans are selected by the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA). Swanbeck was chosen because of his determination, leadership, and perseverance in and out of the classroom. Swanbeck was one of only 38 senior honorees in the country this year. “Tyler Swanbeck earned a 3.9 GPA and is ranked in the top 5% of his class at Hebron Academy. His focus, energy, and attention to detail in the classroom is matched only by his discipline, teamwork, and indomitable spirit on the soccer pitch. We could not be more proud, Tyler is a quintessential student-athlete.” says Head of School, Dan Marchetti.

“This a great honor for me. I don’t ever expect it, but it is nice to be recognized for my hard work” says Swanbeck. Swanbeck will graduate from Hebron Academy in May 2018. He will do a postgraduate year before attending college. Schools hailing from the Ivy League, Big Ten, ACC, PAC 12, WAC, and Patriot League have all shown interest in Swanbeck.
