  • Commencement Invitations & RSVPs

    Invitation packets for families of graduating seniors have been sent. These include invitations, additional information and an attendance form. Please return the attendance form to Heidi Mosher by Friday, May 4th. The form may be mailed to Heidi's attention at Hebron Academy, PO Box 309, Hebron ME 04238. Or you may scan and email it to her.

    If you need additional invitations, please send a request to Heidi Mosher.
  • Baby Photo For the Senior Slide Show

    The Senior Slide show at The Class Dinner is a traditional and memorable highlight for all. Please submit a baby photo of your student to Heidi Mosher by Friday, May 4th. You can do so in one of two ways:

    • Email a JPEG image (preferably 300 dpi) to Heidi Mosher. Make sure the name of your student is included in the email.
    • Include a hard copy photo - with your student identified - with the Commencement Attendance Form in your packet.
    Only photos with a return address included will be returned. Thank you for understanding.
  • Live Stream Available

    Hebron will live stream Commencement for families unable to attend the ceremonies beginning at 10:15 am EST on Saturday, May 26th. 
    We will post the link HERE.
    An email containing this link will also be sent in May.  Feel free to share the link with extended family members and friends.
  • Special Needs Request

    Hebron's Athletic Center is ADA compliant and offers handicap parking spaces in building's parking lot. We encourage those needing handicap parking to arrive early. Seating for the ceremony is on the ground level. If needed, however, there is an elevator in the Athletic Center. 

Commencement Ceremony Details

  • Parking for Commencement

    Parking will be available at the Athletic Center. When filled, general parking will be on Andrews Field (lawn area in front of the School Building). Please allow parking attendants to direct you. 

    Guests with special needs will be directed to reserved spaces at the Athletic Center. You may also drop off your guests at the Athletic Center using the traffic loop and then park in the adjacent lot.

    The Campus Loop, "Perkins Drive," and the driveway in front of Halford Dormitory are CLOSED to parking until after Commencement.
  • Breakfast

    For the Class of 2018 and their families, breakfast will be served in the Dining Hall from 7:30 - 9:30 am. 
  • Seating

    Guests are asked to be in their seats when the Academic Procession enters the building. Please do not stand along the track above the main floor.
  • Shoes

    All guests are asked to wear soft soled shoes only at Commencement. Spiked heels can damage the soft athletic surface of the Athletic Center.
  • Commencement Photographs

    Hockmeyer Studios will be the official photographer for the ceremony. We have shared graduate parents' home address with them. Each graduate will have a choice of photos available after the ceremony either online or via mail. We ask that you refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony but rather wait until after the ceremony when there are many great photo ops. 
  • Commencement Luncheon

    A celebration luncheon for the Class of 2018 and all guests will take place following the ceremony in the dining hall. All members of the Hebron community are welcome to attend.

3:30 PM

This event, held in the Chapel, is the last all-school meeting of the year for the Academy. The Senior Class has chosen a Baccalaureate Speaker, and they will announce the dedication of the 2018 yearbook and Class Gift. 

5:30 PM

This reception will be held under the tent next to Allen House and dinner is hosted by the Class of 2018 in Lepage Center for the Arts. This event is for the Class of 2018 and their parents only due to limited seating and space constraints. There will be remembrances of the class, musical tributes, and the popular Baby and Senior Slideshows. Recommended parking for the event is the Athletic Center lot - please follow signs. Seniors may leave campus with their parents following the event, but must be signed out with either Mr. Godomsky or Mrs. LeBlanc.
