  • Residence

    ELSI participants will be assigned to a dorm room that accommodates two students. Every effort will be made to assign participants of different languages to room together. The expectation is that students will find themselves practicing their English in informal settings in addition to during structured lessons. 
  • Athletics

    Hebron Academy has a fully equipped personal fitness center, squash and basketball courts, outdoor tennis courts and track, as well as a spacious dining and recreation rooms.
  • Technology

    Our campus has secure wireless service, academic online databases, and multiple computer labs. Students discover that they learn English much more quickly without the use of their personal devices, such as cell phones, laptops, and translators.
  • Dress Code & Conduct

    Hebron Academy holds the highest expectations of each student. ELSI participants must meet the same expectations.
     
    Respect for self, others, and the school are required at all times.
     
    All participants are expected to behave in a manner that will make themselves and their families proud.
     
    Participants will dress appropriately according to each day’s activity.
     
    Participants will dress appropriately for dinner: collared shirts, shorts other than gym shorts, and shoes.
     
    Personal phones and other devices will be restricted during structured time.
     
    Hebron Academy reserves the right to send participants home for egregious actions at parents’ expense and no tuition refund.
  • Personal Items Needed

    • Gymshoes (a second pair is required for use in the Athletic Center)
    • Casual, comfortable dress shoes
    • Collared shirts for dinner and some field work (button-down and polo shirts are suggested)
    • Comfortable shorts other than gym shorts
    • T-shirts and gym shorts for outdoor and Athletic Center physical activities
    • One set of dress clothes for formal or business activities
    • Raingear (a light-weight raincoat is suggested)
    • Appropriate sleeping clothes
    • Swimming suit and beach towel
    • Personal toiletries
    • Waterbottle
    A shopping trip is scheduled the first day to purchase any items not packed.

    Hebron Academy will not be responsible for any personal items lost or confiscated because deemed inappropriate
