Hebron Academy is pleased to announce the opening of its on-campus daycare and preschool, the Hebron Academy Early Learning Center (HAELC). The Center will serve children ages 3 months to 5 years in its infant/toddler and preschool programs.
“We believe education begins the moment of birth and that it is a life long process”, says Hebron Academy Head of School, Dan Marchetti. “ And we are thrilled to be able to offer the highest quality early childhood care and education to our faculty/staff families, as well as to families in the greater community”.
The Center will offer a Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum and take full advantage of all that the Hebron Academy campus and community has to offer. “Getting outside to play, explore, and create in nature is also a key component to our program”, says Program Director, Courtney Marchetti. “From planting and harvesting vegetables in our community garden, to exploring Hebron Academy’s nature trails, to building forest playgrounds, and picking apples from our trees, the learning opportunities right outside our back door are really endless”.
“We are also very excited to incorporate our littlest community members here at HAELC into the greater Hebron Academy community”, says Marchetti, “be it by attending musical performances and art exhibits, cheering on HA students at on-campus athletic events, or simply sharing meals together with HA students and faculty. We see HAELC as an extremely enriching opportunity for both the Center children as well as for the HA students and greater community”.
Area families are invited to attend an Open House at HAELC on Thursday, September 21st from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. If interested in attending or in learning more about enrolling your child at HAELC, contact Courtney Marchetti at 207-966-5285 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
