Interested in Music Lessons?

Hebron Academy is dedicated to supporting students in their growth as musicians by creating an environment in which each individual student can flourish and create their own path forward. As our world becomes more normal, we are so excited to rehearse in the familiar way that reminds us how special it is to make music together this coming fall.

There are two performance-based ensembles that meet during the school day: orchestra and chorus. The orchestra welcomes both wind and string players as well as percussionists, and the chorus welcomes anyone who loves to sing! Heebeegeebees, the school acapella group, meets after school, as well as the Modern Band ensembles (student-led pop, rock, and jazz groups). Each of these ensembles provides a safe and accepting environment in which students can have fun learning and exploring music with their friends, reflecting the Hebron value of a sense of family and community within the classroom.

Students also have the unique opportunity to take lessons through Hebron Academy with lesson spaces available in the Lepage Arts Center! Students may study privately on any instrument of their choosing, including guitar, piano, voice, and string, wind, and percussion instruments. Interested parents and students can contact Liz Park to be matched with one of the many teaching and performing artists in Southern Maine. Rates are set by the private instructors and lesson times are determined by all involved.
