Introduction to Fall Athletics: Meet Men's Varsity Soccer Coach Swanbeck

Over the course of the summer Hebron Awaits newsletters, we will be introducing you to Head Coaches of our Fall after-school teams and activities. To start, please meet Coach Kurt Swanbeck, Mens' Varsity Soccer Coach.

Greetings! I am Kurt Swanbeck, Hebron Academy’s Men’s Varsity Soccer Coach, and I would like to welcome you to a new and exciting year at Hebron Academy.

2020- 2021 promises to be a year of exciting changes with new faces and friendships waiting for you to continue your path of learning and exploration of your desire to engage in your passions and finding new ones.

The Varsity Men’s Soccer Team has a continued history of success in the MAISAD conference and NEPSAC (New England Prep Schools Athletic Conference) League. In my ten years at Hebron, we have been in the MAISAD championship game 10 straight years and the New England Championship tournament 8 out of those 10 years, winning back-to-back New England Championships in 2016 and 2017 without losing a single game.

Our expectations for this year are no different than in years past. In fact, we know that you all are anxious to get back to competing at your highest level whether in your passion, soccer, or other sports you find excitement and enjoyment in participating with friends. After each successful fall season of soccer Hebron offers a number of team and individual sports and activities that you will love participating in and representing the Lumberjacks. 

Throughout the summer we look to get a good idea of the activities all students desire to engage in through the fall, winter, and spring. So please take this opportunity to assist our new Athletic Director, Mr. Caddy Brooks, in sharing your fall interest by completing the fall activity choice form here.
