Final Graduation Reminder from the Health Center

Final Graduation Reminder from the Health Center

To all our guests coming for graduation, welcome, and a few reminders:

A negative PCR test (either nasopharyngeal or mid turbinate) test must be received by us before you can attend graduation.  Please try to have it within the 72-hour window prior to graduation.  Any test too far in advance will not be accepted.  We can still accommodate testing on May 12 and could even test on May 13 and most likely have your test result back.

All guests must test with us on Friday, May 14th.  We will be using the BinexNow Rapid Antigen test.  You should receive a confirmation today on your time.  Testing is done at Atwood Health Center on campus, 45 Perkins Drive.  Please pull in and park- a nurse will come out to your car.  There is a form for you to fill out then she will be back to test you.  The results take 15 minutes.  While you wait in your car, there will be a  survey for you to take.  When the nurse returns with your results, she will collect the survey.  Please bring pens and a hard surface to write on.

Please be patient- there are times during the day we are very busy.  Plan on about 30 minutes.  Please remain in your car the whole time and please do not visit any other parts of the campus.

Once we have your negative PCR and a negative BinexNow test, you will receive your ticket to graduation.  No one will be able to be seated at graduation without their ticket.

On graduation day you will be asked the questions on the survey again and have your temperature taken.  Show your ticket to the faculty member who is doing the screening.  All seating is by family group and will be clearly marked.  Please do not move chairs or sit in any other seating group.  Please maintain social distancing and wear a mask at all times.

Thank you for your cooperation in our process to help ensure a safe in-person graduation and that our guests and graduates may return home healthy.
