Reminder Regarding Student Possession of Medication

As a reminder to parents, students are not permitted to possess any medication in their dorm rooms, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications. We ask parents to refrain from mailing such medications to their students. 

Our Health Centers are fully stocked with such OTC medications and students are asked to contact the Health Center should they experience any symptoms they feel warrants an OTC medication. As a point of clarification, because of COVID, we can not permit students to self-medicate to treat symptoms that could possibly be COVID symptoms. As such, any symptoms experienced by students should be promptly reported to the Health Center for further evaluation.
