Traveling with an Unaccompanied Minor

Traveling with an Unaccompanied Minor

With Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break rapidly approaching, I wanted to send a reminder about our policy concerning travel for unaccompanied minors. Due to the level of supervision necessary for unaccompanied minors flying out of airports in the United States, Hebron will only be able to provide transportation to the airport for unaccompanied minors flying out of Portland. If you have booked a flight for your student from Logan Airport, please consider changing their itinerary and having them leave from Portland instead. If necessary, we can facilitate booking a private car to Logan Airport for unaccompanied minors; however, the fee associated with travel and supervision at Logan (generally around $1,200) will far surpass the cost paid to change flights. Unaccompanied minors must also fly into Portland during their return trip in order to facilitate the pick-up process. Please let Amo Weld know if you have any questions.
