We are excited to offer our local students outdoor, socially-distanced activities during the distance learning period!
As we observed last year during distance learning, many of our students really struggled with feeling socially isolated. Given how minimal the transmission risks associated with outdoor distanced gatherings are, the benefits of offering a supervised, distanced, and outdoor activity are clear.
All students will be welcome to attend regardless of whether they are HAMS or Upper School students. Students will need to complete Basecamp prior to arriving and will have their temperatures taken when they arrive on campus. They will not be allowed in any buildings, so they should be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Masks are required.
Our first activities will be this weekend:
Friday, 12/11
Bonfire and Flashlight Tag
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday, 12/12
Wreath-Making and Holiday Decorating, meet on the porch of Sturtevant Dormitory
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Upper School
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Middle School
Please note that only students are allowed to attend, and they must be picked up promptly at the end of the activity.
