Student life is not just a weekend event, it’s 24/7! Community is at the heart of all that we are and all that we do.
There’s a sense of belonging and a sense of pride in being a student at Hebron. There are no cliques and it’s not uncommon for students here to know everyone’s name! From dining hall greetings at breakfast through to the day's last event, you can count on your friends and the faculty to have a welcoming smile and a lending hand.
It’s a great day to be a Lumberjack!
What I love about the LIFE program is that it helps transform the dorms into a home-like experience- with a large family. Whether we are having a late night breakfast buffet after study hall during finals week, or having small group discussions on topics such as sleep hygiene and nutrition, it always brings faculty and students closer together. From classes and activities to public speaking, Hebron is intentional about developing students into lifelong learners and helping them discover their best self in all areas of school life. Students find their voice at Hebron and as a faculty member, coach and dorm parent, I love being part of that process.
Ashley LeBlanc, Dean of Students
Hebron had some of the most passionate and resourceful instructors I have ever come across. For example, being in southern Maine, the foliage in Hebron is unmatched anywhere in New England. I remember writing poetry about it for English class and collecting leaves for Biology. The faculty were great stewards and mentors; in the classroom, on the field and in life. Ryan Ratsep '13

When we were all together, hanging out on the porch, ringing the bell or making a slip and slide, those were some of the best times.
