Leading Others

We believe that providing students with leadership opportunities is a critical part of their development, and another way to they can discover how to use their voice to effect positive change. Formal and informal leadership opportunities exist every day and are supported by faculty and staff. Hebron encourages student leadership in school meetings, dormitories, classrooms, and on athletic teams. Additionally, students can start new clubs, run for class office, apply to be a proctor and lead community events.

Student Proctors

Proctors are student leaders and mentors. They support school events in a myriad of ways and are accessible as peer mentors. As leaders selected by their peers and the faculty, they are innate role models and share their school spirit every day.

Qualities of leadership for proctor selection are:

  • Appreciation of Hebron Values
  • School Spirit
  • Leads by Example
  • Communicates Effectively
  • Shows Responsibility and Maturity

Class Officers

Each class elects their own class representatives to help lead events, promote class unity and celebrate their class’s unique interests and spirit! Activities focus on three goals: Spirit, Service, and Fun(d)raising.
