Creation of a Faculty Award for Classroom Curriculum Innovation

Albert LePage

Starting in the 2021-2022 academic year, faculty will have the opportunity to be considered for the Albert Lepage ‘65 Faculty Award for Curriculum Excellence in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This $10,000 cash award will be distributed annually to the faculty member who innovates classroom curriculum to reflect diversity, equity and inclusion. Along with the advice of the Advisory Council, the recipient is determined by the Head of School and Director of the Lepage Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  The award is funded for 2022-2032, at minimum, and will be presented by Albert Lepage at the final faculty meeting of the academic year.

“Albert Lepage’s vision and investment in diversity, equity and inclusion is transformative for the Academy, and the effects will be felt by generations of Hebron students and alumni,” said Dan Marchetti, Head of School. “We are in awe of Albert’s vision and grateful to him for his service to Hebron as a trustee and as a benefactor. Stay tuned for more news on this front.”
